Your Defining Moment--When God Asks

It may surprise you to realize that God may ask you to go hungry-- to be obedient to what he says do even when your efforts fail. God does ask for different things at different times. What we refuse to relinquish can leave us stuck--- unable to know God as he should be known. Not stuck in bondage-- but never entering the promised land either. Sometimes when our Christian walk isn't as satisfying as it could be we may need to retrace our steps. Is there a moment when we loved something more than him? Something we were unwilling to do? Maybe something we should have done. Let us determine now to never allow anything to take precedent over him again.
