God set the world up where you would have to give something of value to get something of value. So the hunt is on for our treasure. At least it is for us and Satan. What we are willing to give, shows us our priorities and gives us insight into what kind of people we are. Our treasure hunt is an eye-opening experience or should be. For Satan he is just trying to figure out what change in circumstances, or acquisition will cause us to bow to him... remember Jesus and his temptation on the high mountain. Satan was trying to figure out what Jesus would take for His loyalty. An early form of visual advertisement wouldn't you agree?
